Fashion.War.Music and Black Bird Studios

Fashion War Music is the studio where I do all of my recording, it's owned and operated by Aaron "A CEE DUB" Harmon. He is a brilliant producer and engineer - he actually is the one that pointed me in the direction of synth-dance-rock-madness; and i am forever grateful to him, obv. He also got me the hook-up at world renowned Black Bird Studios. (If you haven't heard of it, you must click the link, this studio is ground breaking) I did all the pre-production for "Broken Glass" at the FWM studio and recorded the final takes at Black Bird with the naysayer himself, John Netti, behind the board. These guys were fabulous to work with - we also had alot of fun playing around with different sounds and equipment, and playing a little wall ball in the parking lot between takes. Listen to the final product for my "Broken Glass" EP~HERE~. It turned-out huge and the synths are perfect. Here's a few pics and a vid of the boys and I getting down in the studio, unfortunately i didn't take time out of singing to take more pics...

Music to Move Your Mind

Music is a very necessary silk thread that connects us to other places and times. It can fill us with the memory of where we were when we first heard a certain song, it could transform your emotion , it may even transport us to a place we've never been, but dream of. No matter the genre you are partial to, music provides a soundtrack to life's experiences.
What if when you turned on the radio you found yourself tapping your toes to the tick of a fantastic lick, and then found yourself pondering the message? ...and upon deciding your opinion, took that message with you, enhancing that 2 and a half minute experience? That is what The Morning Comets is all about. Move your feet and move your mind ;) Get a Free Download of the latest song ~HERE~ from the brilliant mind of Burton Oaks. I collaborated with him on this song and it turned out wonderfully. It's called "We Just Wanna Make You Move", and it achieves just that! Its dance-y to a perfect point and catchy as hell ;) listen and enjoy...

Stop, Collaborate and Listen

Local rap artist Chance Warhol and i recently recorded a song together, called "Comatose". It is wicked, dark and sexy. This jam will be running through your head all day, or ringing in your ears... in a good way. Here is a link to the fabulously fantastically FREE download ;)

I Likes Ta Remix

So.... there is this fantastic online community which is completely devoted to the brilliant and intense music that flavor video games, it's called OverClocked Remix. Not being much of a gamer myself (id rather stare at the floor than actually play a game) im not too familiar with the passion that goes into the game, but the music is... well, brilliant... and i have come to respect and enjoy the projects produced on this site. This community (found
here) is full of composers, musicians, producers and engineers who work individually or in collaborations to create new manifestations of already complex and diverse pieces. I was lucky enough to be invited by a very talented friend to sing on a song that made it onto one of the newest albums to be accepted and released on the site. Hybound crafted an intense remix and I delivered the vocals. The song is called "Somewhere to Hide" from the album Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption. It has had an incredible reception and approval by the tough crowd at OCR and I enjoyed every minute of the collaboration. Here is a link to the the official Tron trailer with our song synched to it, check it out:
