Fashion War Music is the studio where I do all of my recording, it's owned and operated by Aaron "A CEE DUB" Harmon. He is a brilliant producer and engineer - he actually is the one that pointed me in the direction of synth-dance-rock-madness; and i am forever grateful to him, obv. He also got me the hook-up at world renowned Black Bird Studios. (If you haven't heard of it, you must click the link, this studio is ground breaking) I did all the pre-production for "Broken Glass" at the FWM studio and recorded the final takes at Black Bird with the naysayer himself, John Netti, behind the board. These guys were fabulous to work with - we also had alot of fun playing around with different sounds and equipment, and playing a little wall ball in the parking lot between takes. Listen to the final product for my "Broken Glass" EP~HERE~. It turned-out huge and the synths are perfect. Here's a few pics and a vid of the boys and I getting down in the studio, unfortunately i didn't take time out of singing to take more pics...

Honestly... You've Googled Yourself...

Haha! Old poster I found,
That's me in my rockin' beanie >>>
Also Found:
"What I like best is the sheer FORCE of the hits and beats here; everything feels like a punch to the gut. Remember the training scene in Rocky IV, where Ivan Drago was wailing on that funky machine that measured force? Yeah... it's like that. The piece has an unusual cadence to it, avoiding four-on-the-floor for a more syncopated, alternating beat that's off as much as it is on, dropping out then coming right back like a freight train. The edges are sharp, the synths are dressed up to the 9's, and Loka's vocals soar over the whole thing and are processed effectively. The elongated, cross-panned, robot-voice "Somewhere" is a really nice touch, as well."
That's a lovely review, click on it for the extended <3

I Likes Ta Remix

So.... there is this fantastic online community which is completely devoted to the brilliant and intense music that flavor video games, it's called OverClocked Remix. Not being much of a gamer myself (id rather stare at the floor than actually play a game) im not too familiar with the passion that goes into the game, but the music is... well, brilliant... and i have come to respect and enjoy the projects produced on this site. This community (found here) is full of composers, musicians, producers and engineers who work individually or in collaborations to create new manifestations of already complex and diverse pieces. I was lucky enough to be invited by a very talented friend to sing on a song that made it onto one of the newest albums to be accepted and released on the site. Hybound crafted an intense remix and I delivered the vocals. The song is called "Somewhere to Hide" from the album Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption. It has had an incredible reception and approval by the tough crowd at OCR and I enjoyed every minute of the collaboration. Here is a link to the the official Tron trailer with our song synched to it, check it out:
